Our processing methods will involve proprietary practices and systems that have been carefully researched and testing to manufacture the finest quality cashew kernels with superior sensory properties. We place great emphasis on maintaining the highest standards at every stage of our production processes and are firm believers of responsible processing. Being a highly labour intensive process, we believe our people are our most precious and vital resource. Production
A cashew nut processing plant is currently been constructed at Mbuyuni - Mtwara. Harvested raw cashew nuts from Mitonga and Matekwe after preliminary preparations will be transported to the warehouses & processing facilities with proper ventilation, temperature, and humidity control. The main product produced is cashew nut kernel of various grades, according to the international standard (AFI Standard) - W240, W320, W450, WS, LWP, SWP, BB, FE as well as an auxiliary product - cashew nut shell oil (CNSL).
Processing Technology
The technology that will used for processing cashew nuts is the latest and most advanced at the moment, allowing for excellent quality. The company will carry out a full processing cycle, including drying, sorting and steam treatment of nuts in the shell, separating the shell from the kernel on automatic cutting lines, drying and moistening the kernel, peeling. Sorting of finished products by grade depending on color and shape is carried out on digital photo separators with maximum accuracy and productivity. Up to 300 tons of finished products can be produced per month. The technological process will be carried out in a production facility with an area of ​​6,000 m2. Warehouses of 2,000 m2 are provided for storing raw materials.
